I’ve always loved hiking, and the mountains have been my go-to escape for years. But a few months back, I started feeling this dull ache in my right knee. At first, I shrugged it off, thinking it was just from overdoing it. Unfortunately, the aches got worse, little by little, until it felt like every step was stabbing my knee. Eventually, it got so bad I had to stop hiking altogether, which was frustrating.
I found out I had early signs of bone on bone. They suggested I try a knee brace. Honestly, I wasn’t convinced it would help much, but I was willing to try anything to get back on the trails.
When the brace finally arrived, and after wearing it for 10 minutes, I couldn’t believe the difference. The discomfort that had been bothering me for months was almost completely gone, and I felt confident again. I even made it through one of my favorite hikes without any trouble. It felt like such a relief!
Now, I never head out on a hike without that knee brace. It’s as important to me as my boots or water bottle. It’s lightweight, easy to wear, and I hardly notice it’s there, even on long hikes. Honestly, I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. If you love hiking but struggle with knee trouble, I can’t recommend a knee brace enough. It’s given me back the thing I love most.
